During my time at Borg Markkula Oy, UNIT approached us for the development of a web-based platform demo that would enable the user to traverse the real-estate development market in Riyad, Saudi Arabia. We delivered a demo version of a web app for plot search, parametric live massing, and financial report calculation. The solution allows generative exploration of live massing geometries for the chosen site and informs the user if the selected proposal conforms to local design guidelines. The user is also presented with the ability to make comparative calculations based on the generated massing and outputting them as a report.
The demo was developed as a Node.js application using RhinoCompute and Three.js for a light, web-based 3D massing software integration.
