STILRIDE specializes in crafting stylish electro-mobility devices using sustainable industrial origami known as STILFOLD. With a longstanding partnership, Borg Markkula Oy collaborates closely with the company, creating customized tools and workflows to facilitate the design of intricate curve-folded geometries for robotic manufacturing. This involves the development of bespoke Grasshopper plugins and workflows tailored to their unique requirements. Upon joining the team in 2022, I contributed by designing a personalized display component within the Rhino rendering pipeline, incorporating basic surface analysis features for the output of the folding simulation geometry.
